I purchased my 2011 ford edge in december of 2010 and have not had a day when there hasn't been a problem with with either the sync or sirius system. I have had my auto serviced six separate times and still have issues. Tl* the contact owns a 2011 ford edge. While driving approximately 55 mph, the entire dashboard screen and gps display screen failed. During the failure, the both screens displayed a message stating that the system was rebooting. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where a software update was installed. The contact was able to continue driving the vehicle and the vehicle was inspected by the dealer who was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
