The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

That does not allow to lock the doors automatically (after the speed is more than 5 mph) or even manually since they unlock immediately. That is a safety concern. Also, the interior lights stay on until you drive, blinding you and this can be a safety issue at night.

The rear driver-side door indicator switch has become unreliable. It now indicates the rear driver-side door is open a majority of the time.
