Door ajar warning message on while driving or parked. Causes interior lights to stay on 10 minutes before turning off when parked. Interior lights will turn on and alarm horn will sound intermittently when parked. I pulled the fuse for the horn relay, don't know when it will sound. I feel it's unsafe to drive without a horn. While driving doors do not lock in fact they unlock after locking them with lock switch. *tr

I have already filed a complaint back in 2014 concerning the drivers side door switch. This week i received a recall notice and was elated only to find out that the recall was my ford focus and ford fusion not the ford edge! The focus and fusion are being recalled for the exact same switch that the dealer charged me $389.24 to fix in my ford edge.

The door ajar error appears on the dash, even when the door is fully closed. The alarm cannot be properly activated because of this. The door was not hit in an accident, it just developed one day intermittently and is now constant. I am having to replace the door latch to resolve the issue.

Alert stating "awd off" and an image of a wrench suddenly came on while driving. Car sputtered and was unable to accelerate. Pulled over, turned car off and waited a few minutes.
