For about 6 months now sometimes when i park and put the gear in park the warning light stating "shift to park" will come on even though the vehicle is in park and off. Last year i brought my edge in for door ajar light to a ford dealer. They fixed it and it cost 225.00. This was july 14 2016. It has started to do the same thing less then a year. This can be a safety issue because if you just press the ok and the light goes out the doors will not lock. And if you have children in the back they can still open the door..
