The central computer indicates that the driver's seat door is open when it is in fact fully closed. It stays that way, no matter how many times you close the door. *tr

    Electrical System

Upon starting the engine, we have had sporadic driver's door ajar indications with dash alarm & interior lighting affected. This has plagued us from 2500 miles to the present (february 2016 @ 36,000 miles). First incident occurred shortly after purchase of vehicle on april 1, 2013. Internal electrical failure in the left front door latch with integral switch that sends a false door ajar signal to the dashboard instruments and audible alarm system. Begins as an intermittent issue then in a few days becomes constant. Annoying at the least. Distracting at the worst, especially for less experienced drivers. My repair was out of any warranty due to mileage. *tr
