My rear windshield shattered for no reason. I was pulling out of a parking spot and heard a loud pop. Nothing had hit my car, no one was around, nothing fell from the sky or off of a building. The vehicle was parked in my driveway and occupied by myself and three children in the back seat. The window imploded when the front passenger door was closed as my husband entered the suv. My son in the back seat received a small cut over his left eye, another child was hit by the glass but uninjured.

The glass panel on the panoramic sunroof cracked for no obvious reason. Selling dealer was contacted. The service manager looked at the glass and stated that "it was caused by impact call your insurance company". There was no impact. It seems the glass panel is under a pressure/stress load. The glass just cracked.
