2008 ford edge transmission issues. The transmission does not shift properly and sticks in gear and shifts very erratically. It happens at least once a day or more depending on how often it is driven. I have a 2008 ford edge. I have been putting up with many issues until the last one i experienced last year. My usual problems have been when on an incline & trying to go forward, the car will go backwards causing you to have your foot on the brake and the gas at the same time so you will not hit the car behind you.
