While driving the vehicle sensor staying "low engine oil pressure" appeared on the dash, while at tree same time the lights flickered, the vehicle died completely, and tge steering wheel locked in place making it impossible to steer the vehicle off the main road. The vehicle had to be placed in park and re-started continuously until we reached the driveway of our home.

I have had my power steering fail 4 times in the last year. Most recently, i had the whole system replaced while out of state on vacation. The vehicle is extremely difficult to steer when this happens. This could cause a serious accident.

During cold weather, when i start the car it has a high pitched whining sound with loss of power steering and the car becomes very difficult to steer while pulling out of parking spot. Car continues with whining sound for approximately 15-20 minutes until fully warmed up, steering column feels tight during normal motion of car until whining stops.
