The door latch light stays on durning drive time, it prevents locked doors and light on mirrors and interior light stay on. I have read there is multiple ford edge drivers with same saftety issue. The driver door latch is defective thus failing to notify the sensor that the door is actually closed. The door, although closed, registers open. The door ajar warning sounds on the dash board, dome lights stay on and doors do not lock.
