The driver side door latch assembly has went bad and it is a problem that ford refuses to address. It keep the light on in the cabin of the car and the door doesn't lock appropriately for safety.

Safety issue regarding door latch and door ajar sensor. Sensor has failed and continues to think the door is ajar which causes the doors not able to lock, and the interior light stays on and causes windshield glare when driving at night. This is a safety hazard as you cannot lock the doors for protection and you can't see properly to drive at night.
