Driver door ajar light remains on when door is completely closed and interior lights remain on. Safety hazard when driving at night also a drain on the battery. Vehicle was stationary when problem occurred but could not resolve and had to drive with interior lights on at night.

The door ajar indicator will not turn off. It is frustrating because my children ride in the cr and i am constantly checking to ensure it is actually closed. My auto door locks do not automatically engage. The lights stay on much longer than necessary.
