Purchased a used 2015 "certified" ford edge titanium 3 months ago now. The sunroof will not close. I am being informed its the sunroof racks and those are not covered in either my certified warranty or my power tran warranty. How can a sunroof only used 3 times racks break unless they were already messed up and the dealership thought it would be easier to get rid of instead of fixing.

Wavy pattered cracks on the back panel of panoramic sunroof glass with no indication that something fell on it to cause the cracks. I was not in the car when it happened and do not leave my sunroof shade open all the time, so i cannot be sure exactly when the cracks happened. I leave the shade closed during the hot summer months.

Discovered on or about 11/19/18 a wavy crack/fissure across rear-most moon roof iwindow. This is the window component of the moon roof which does not move.. The window crack/fissure was not the result of any accident or impact with any object. I have 38,000 miles on this vehicle. Internet search suggests this may be a common vehicle defect.
